Mauro has a tremendous understanding of the world we live in from politics to pop culture to his passion for sports, and he shares his often controversial views with America's sports fans. Along with his duties on Sports Overnight America, Mauro is a sports video game journalist whose work can be seen in "Electronic Gaming Monthly" and at IGNSports.com. The assignment to host Sports Overnight America is a homecoming for Mauro who served as Senior Producer and Features Host for Sports Byline USA from 1993 through 1995. Mauro began his broadcasting career while still in school at the University of San Francisco serving as play-by-play man for USF Basketball.
