Sports Byline USA Partners with Sirius


Beginning in early 2002 Sports Byline USA began providing an interactive sports talk channel on Sirius Satellite Radio…the next generation of broadcast communications. Sirius Satellite Radio broadcasts 100 channels of news, sports, music and entertainment programming, with digital quality sound and seamless coast-to-coast coverage, directly to subscribers' vehicles.

Sports Byline USA is the most successful nightly sports talk radio network in the country, with over 150 affiliated radio stations in the U.S. It is also heard world wide on over 500 American Forces Network stations, as well as live on the internet at www.sportsbyline.com. Sports Byline USA began airing in 1988, giving listeners an opportunity to talk with the world's top sports personalities via a toll-free telephone number. Now Sports Byline USA is once again taking the lead in bringing quality sports talk to a new broadcast platform.

Sirius delivers 60 original channels of completely commercial-free music in virtually every genre, and 40 world-class sports, news and entertainment channels. DaimlerChrysler has announced plans to offer Sirius radios in 17 models of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep® vehicles beginning this fall. BMW has announced plans to offer Sirius radios as an accessory in its most popular models through BMW Centers across the country, including select BMW 3 Series, 5 Series and X5 vehicles. Nissan has announced plans to offer Sirius radios as an option this fall on numerous Infiniti and Nissan 2003 models, and future Audi and Volkswagen models will also offer Sirius. Sirius also has agreements to install AM/FM/SAT radios in Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Volvo and Mazda vehicles. Kenwood, Clarion, Audiovox, and Jensen satellite receivers, including models that can adapt any car stereo to receive Sirius, are available at retailers such as Circuit City, Best Buy, Sears, Good Guys, Tweeter, Ultimate Electronics and Crutchfield. Panasonic satellite radio products will be available this month.
